Angelika Wolman

PhD student

Originally German, I did my bachelor and master’s degree in Psychology in France, Marseille. Passionate by social, affective and cognitive neuroscience, I’m now investigating temporal features of the self via a face recognition task in EEG. Driving questions for me are : why people do what they do? How far is it possible to capture the complexity of our affective, social or phenomenological life by ‘simple’ methods? I like  to combine psychology, neuroscience (and who knows… maybe I will learn mathematical modelling too…) to investigate these questions.

My hobbies are going on hikes, dancing and reading or related activities.
