I’m currently a PhD student majoring in neuroscience at the University of Ottawa. My research focuses on global brain activity and its temporal dynamics. This involves trying to construct both the theorical and computational models to connect the brain, consciousness, and environment.
Outside academia, I like to spend my time with my friends. We enjoy various kinds of Chinese food and we usually drink to midnight on weekends. When I’m alone, I usually play video and board games which can challenge my skills and intelligence. These include Dota 2, Europa Universalis, and Go chess. Since my arrival in Ottawa, I have enjoyed exploring the city on my beloved bike.
